Thanks for the info. I have good plated and am happy because my standards are pretty humble. However I would prefer just silver in most cases because I can always polish it and have it back to new. Nothing to wear off for good. My plated ring is rubbing off a bit but I still love it, the yellow shine always brings a glimmer of light to my soul because that is real gold glimmering, even if it is just a thin layer that is coming off. Tho it depends where your standards are. These treasures of the earth are to lift your spirits. If they do that for you, they are valuable.

Where's my chain? This is not a good company. The clasp broke within a year or so with super light use. This guy told me 2-3weeks to fix so I sent it in and now 3 weeks later he's making up stuff. Today he said it'll take 3-5 weeks then turns around and emails an hour later and says it'll take up to 6 weeks or more. I don't like your lies and I definitely don't trust you now especially that you're selling used jewelry, so who knows you go to buy a $2,500 chain you might get something used. I still have not received my 2400 chain that I sent to him and he will not provide me with an exact date to ship my chain back after I refused the repair due to the time frame changing once it got there. This is the video that made me pull the trigger on a 1.5 franco. I have a 300 y/o spanish shipwreck reale coin pendant and I love it. The pendant alone can be valued between $500 -$2000. I won it at auction for $180 all in, and will doubt I will find another deal like this for a very very long time. I like to snorkel in the Caribbean and so I wanted a small chain that I can trust to hold such a pendant and not lose it to the 🌊 sea. I was on the edge of making the purchase and then I saw this demonstrational video and I went ahead and purchased my 1.5 mm franco (plain).

Save hundreds of dollars and head to downtown LA's jewelry center, glad he ignored my multiple inquiries about a gold chain. Took a cruise and literally saved about 500 bucks and the same kind of quality pieces.

i used to sleep with my 6mm rope that weighed less than 20gs from what i remember but it was 10k so a lot more durable than 14k+ considering it might be too weak to do the same for the same weight

There’s nothing wrong with wearing a pearl necklace. “Because my grandmother wore it” is a small minded reason. Yes, pearls were often gifted to women and conflated with femininity and sexual innuendos, but so are diamonds, gold and silver (most jewelry matter of fact). Clothes and accessories don’t make a man, so you’re not less of a man for wearing anything YOU want to wear.
